How do you identify yourself? How do you see yourself? The Grade 2s have enjoyed exploring the concept of identity. They read a variety of books on identity and brainstormed some elements of it. The students discussed and described the elements of identity and wrote their own “I am statements” and made visual explanations of their own positive self image of who they are. Creating such statements is one way to celebrate their uniqueness.
