This is an excellent middle-grade novel! 'Not an Easy Win' by Chrystal D. Giles captivated me from start to finish. The protagonist, 12-year-old Lawrence, immediately won me over with his relatable voice. Through his struggles and triumphs, I found myself rooting for him wholeheartedly.
