Who can resist the bad seed?! I enjoyed Jory John’s book “Bad Seed”. Children will have fun exploring Halloween AND Mr. Seed's emotional rollercoaster. In my opinion it will hit home with kids who love Halloween. This book highlights that Halloween is not about having the perfect costume, perfect decor but it is all about fun and togetherness with friends and family. As I read this book to my class I discussed the importance of being kind to ourself and that sometimes we are our own biggest critic. Looking for perfection can be harmful to our mental health. The most important thing is doing our best and having fun.
